ESCAPE FROM FEARSOME HIM

In the dawn of the light of the night
I wipe my hands down the side of my gown
Waiting patiently and tirelessly
For him, my knight, to come
Pick me up and sweep me off
To the pitch black night and away
From this tiresome gruesome place

Leave not my heart my soul here
Take my everything with you
Leave this barren place barren, sorrow perhaps
But never leave me here without you
Come my knight I am waiting
My palms perspired yet again
Where are you my dear my saviour?

Again I wipe away the perspiration
My heartbeat beats twice faster
Lightness overcomes me and weakens
The resolve as I waited less patiently
The time is almost up when suddenly
I hear footsteps nearing, my breath snared
Is it him my knight finally come to take me away?

Alas poor unfortunate soul
It is not the light that I waited for
But the one that I plan on leaving
Sorrowful in this tiresome gruesome barren place
It is him I am in want of escape
It is him that I fear and loathe
The fearsome him
